AquaWind strengthens innovation partnerships with a visit to MaREI Centre in Cork, Ireland

In the framework of the European AquaWind project, the Canary Islands Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI) visited the MaREI Centre in Cork, Ireland, with the aim of strengthening synergies in innovation and sustainability in the field of offshore energy.

During this exchange day, a valuable technical dialogue was generated with the MaREI Centre team, an international reference in marine and energy research, promoting transnational collaboration and mutual learning between partners. The ACIISI succeeded in strengthening ties between Atlantic regions committed to more sustainable development.

This type of action strengthens the collaborative approach of the AquaWind project, aimed at finding joint solutions for the coexistence of activities such as offshore wind energy and aquaculture.

An enriching day that reflects the European commitment to blue innovation and shared sustainability.
