The Wavec Seminar 2024 took place on 3 December in Lisbon at the Museo do Oriente. Organised by WavEC Offshore Renewables in collaboration with the Norwegian Embassy in Portugal, Innovation Norway, and Norwegian Offshore Wind, the event focused on the theme ‘Portugal and Norway: Fostering the Development of the Offshore Wind Energy Supply Chain.
AquaWind actively participated in this seminar, highlighting its commitment to sustainability and the future of offshore renewable energy. The event provided a valuable opportunity for industry professionals to explore possibilities for collaboration and discuss developments in offshore renewable energy.
The seminar was a resounding success, with 218 attendees in total. In addition, AquaWind took the opportunity to project its videos, which were shown twice during the event: once during the morning break and once during the afternoon break, ensuring greater visibility of the project.
On 4 December, attendees participated in networking sessions designed to foster connections and explore potential collaborations, allowing AquaWind to interact with other industry leaders and continue to forge strategic alliances.
This seminar reinforces AquaWind’s position as a key player in marine energy innovation, cementing its role in creating sustainable energy solutions for the future.
