AquaWind at the Offshore Wind Congress: Innovation and Technology for a Sustainable Future

On 7 and 8 of November, AquaWind was present at the second edition of the Offshore Wind Congress, held at the emblematic Congress Palace of Cadiz. Represented by AquaWind project partners Enerocean and PLOCAN, the project was part of this meeting that brings together leading experts from the offshore and floating wind sectors.

The congress, which has consolidated its relevance in only three editions, stands out for being a space where leadership in technological development is promoted and new ways are explored to integrate sustainable and scalable solutions in the energy sector. During the conference, the challenges and opportunities posed by the energy transition, the exploitation of the potential of floating offshore wind, and the progress made in the consolidation of Spain as an epicentre of innovation in renewable energies were addressed.

AquaWind’s participation underlines the project’s commitment to the integration of pioneering technologies that combine offshore energy generation with aquaculture, once again demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability.

We continue to move forward together towards new horizons—thanks to all who made this event a great success!
