On 20 June at 10:30 am. CET the highly anticipated webinar on publicly funded projects, including Wedge Global’s innovative FLORA and the AquaWind Project, was successfully held. Co-funded by the European Union, the FLORA project set out to build and demonstrate a pioneering floating platform that validates the feasibility of designing multi-purpose platforms for remote monitoring services, especially focused on fisheries, aquaculture and environmental sustainability.
During the event, Jelle Muller, Ecology Project Engineer at Ecowende, elaborated on FLORA’s crucial role in the bird monitoring and research programme.
While the AquaWind Project was presented by Beatrice Avagnina (CE), Silvia Martín and Nestor Santiago (PLOCAN) where significant progress was shown during the webinar, highlighting its contributions to sustainable development in the marine sector.
Experts and professionals from the sector gathered to discuss and analyse the updated results of both projects, underlining the importance of these technological advances in environmental monitoring and protection.
