AquaWind Drives the Blue Economy at FIMAR 2024

On 7 June, AquaWind stood out at the International Maritime Fair (FIMAR) 2024, held at the Muelle Sanapú. The morning day was characterised by a notable influx of visitors, marking the closing of the thirteenth edition of this key event for the maritime economy and culture of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

During the three days of the fair, more than 15,000 people visited the venue, where some 50 companies and 80 stands exhibited the latest in marine technology, services and products related to the sea. The active participation of the local and foreign public not only underlined the success of the event, but also reaffirmed the importance of the sea in the cultural identity of the city and the island.

FIMAR 2024, promoted by the Cabildo de Gran Canaria, the City Council of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Port Authority of Las Palmas, and organised by the city’s Department of Ciudad de Mar and Infecar, Feria de Gran Canaria, is consolidating its position as a fundamental pillar for the development of the blue economy. The fair not only fosters innovation and commercial exchange, but also contributes to strengthening a true culture of the sea in the community.
