With the annual WindEurope event taking place in Bilbao from March 20–22, the city transformed into the epicentre of onshore and offshore wind energy. Over 12,000 people came together to learn about and debate the most recent advancements and patterns in the European wind industry.
One of the attendees was Aquawind, which made use of the WindEurope stage to showcase its breakthroughs and ideas for the clean energy of the future.
Over the course of the three days of the expo, Aquawind captivated the participants with an attractive display manned by our colleagues from the Canary Islands’ Maritime Cluster, EnerOcean, and PLOCAN – Canary Islands’ Oceanic Platform. The attendees were particularly fascinated after watching the project’s instructive video and our brochures.
In addition to providing a forum for networking and information sharing, the event gave attendees a chance to sample Bilbao’s delectable cuisine and rich cultural heritage.
In summary, Aquawind’s involvement in WindEurope 2024 demonstrated its ongoing dedication to environmental sustainability, technical excellence, and the pursuit of a cleaner, renewable energy future.
