Recently our project teams from ULPGC, ACIISI-GOBCAN, and ENEROCEAN met at the Las Palmas harbour for a technical inspection of the W2Power prototype.

Currently, our dedicated team from ECOAQUA Institute at ULPGC is hard at work setting up the innovative AquaWind aquaculture cage and the associated fish feeding silo. The next step will be the set-up and checks of the net, which has just reached the harbour of Gran Canaria, ready to be integrated into the cage.

Later, the whole aquaculture system will seamlessly be integrated into the W2Power offshore wind energy platform, combining aquaculture and renewable energy for a sustainable future.
